SPAR is a local hero. But how do you tell that story to national audience?
THE SOLUTION
Introducing Gert. A character embodying all the great local values of SPAR, played by the Danish comedian Anders Grau. Gert instantly became a national success, on TV and Facebook. Giving Denmark a local grocer we are all on first name terms with. And a character that can tell all the amazing stories that plays out at 145 local SPAR shops around Denmark every day.
THE RESULTS
Ad-recognition went from 17% to 68% in the first week, and the popular TV universe has been running since 2018.
